Each year the South Florida Manufacturing Society (SFMA) awards excellence in manufacturing through its Manufacturer-of-the-Year awards. SI is honored to be amongst the finalist in the category for companies with 31-75 employees.
Evaluation for this Award is based on six criteria / categories from the Baldridge Performance Excellence Process. The Award Assessment is comprised of several questions asked by the Examiners during a 3-part series of interviews, each structured as elimination rounds.
The questions are focused on process and the effectiveness of a process as determined by 4 measures of an effective process:
1) Approach, 2) Deployment, 3) Integration and 4) Learning.
